Dr Asquith has worked in the Illawarra and South Coast for a number of years and joined the practice in 2012.

She has a keen interest in travel and in her spare time loves painting and often puts on exhibitions locally. Most recently Dr Asquith has done some rural remote work in Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory.

Dr Conlon joined Shell Cove Family Health in February 2015 after relocating to Australia from the UK. Dr Conlon completed her studies at the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff. She worked for a short time in Shepparton in Victoria before returning to the UK and then arriving at Shell Cove where the family look forward to settling long term.

She has an interest in pain management, women’s health, and mental health.

Dr Foley grew up in Tamworth and moved to Sydney to study medicine at UNSW graduating in 2000. She joined Shell Cove Family Health in 2012 as part of the general practice registrar program, obtaining her fellowship in 2013 and staying on as a permanent part of the GP team at Shell Cove. She enjoys all aspects of general practice but has a particular interest in preventative health and nutrition. She performs minor procedures such as skin biopsies, minor excisions and implanon insertion/removal, she also does men’s health. Dr Foley enjoys cooking, camping, bushwalking and music in her spare time.

Kelly trained in medicine in Manchester in the UK, graduating in 2003. She had always wanted to work in general practice and completed her specialist training in 2008. Since then she worked in both City and rural practices in the UK.

She moved to Australia and joined Shell Cove Family Health in 2013. Kelly enjoys all aspects of general practice, particularly women’s and children’s health. When not working she enjoys spending time with her family and enjoying the beautiful Illawarra countryside and weather

Dr Jackson graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2011, obtaining his medical bachelor and bachelor of Surgery MBBS and later on obtained a Diploma in Child health through the University of Sydney. He did his internship and residency at The Wollongong hospital. He started with Shell Cove in 2015 as part of the GP Registrar program and has recently returned to the practice full time after completing the final part of his GP training and successfully passing his exams.

Dr Jackson scored the highest mark in New South Wales and ACT for the RACGP Fellowship Clinical examinations in 2016 and was the recipient of the Tony Buhagiar Memorial Medal.

He has an interests in men’s, children’s, adolescent and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. As well as travel medicine, chronic disease management and doing minor procedures. In addition to this he has worked in remote communities in Central Australia and also in Palm and Christmas Island. He enjoys being outdoors, surfing, football, travel and skiing.

Mythily Graduated from the Armed Forces Medical College in Prune, India in 1995. She worked as a medical officer and later as consultant ENT surgeon in the Indian Army until 2006 when she moved to Australia. Mythily started her internship in Calvary Hospital Canberra and then took a job as RMO in Wollongong Hospital. Mythily completed her FRACGP in 2016 through the registrar program. She has also completed a DCH and certificate in Dermoscopy. She has particular interests in Women’s health, skin cancers and ENT.

Andrew has recently joined the practice after relocating from the UK with his family. Andrew studied medicine at Imperial College in London and graduated in 2007. He completed his GP training with the Royal Free Hospital training scheme which included a year spent as a Darzi Clinical Leadership Fellow.

After completing his training, Andrew had been working as a GP in a busy central London practice in addition to being the Clinical Lead for Planned Care at the Islington Clinical Commissioning Group.

He is interested in all aspects of General Practice but has particular interest in Men’s health, child health, sexual health, preventative medicine and digital health technology.

Dr Simpson studied medicine at the University of Liverpool (UK) and, following a variety of hospital appointments, has worked in general practice since 1984. Dr Simpson has led several published scientific research projects, mainly concerning finding effective ways to implement evidence-based medicine effectively. He has been involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. He has been Medical Director of a District Health Authority and of a large Community Health Trust. In 1991 Dr Simpson was awarded the prestigious Health Service Management Award for leading the development of the largest drug misuse service in Europe. Carl originally came to Shell Cove in 2013 before briefly returning to the UK and has now happily returned to Australia and Shell Cove Family Health.

Particular health interests are chronic disease management,
preventative health care, immunisations and Indigenous Australian’s
health care.

Nurse. Obtained well women’s certificate to perform pap smears Worked in
the Hospital system in ICU/CCU in Sydney before moving to Wollongong in
2006.

Casual Nurse in various wards in Wollongong Hospital before starting in General Practice in 2008.

Joined SCFH from day 1 as the first Registered Nurse and have watched its
amazing growth 4 years on. Enjoys all clinical aspects of General
Practice Nursing which is continually expanding.

Alice Springs Hospitals, then 12 years of Community Nursing in Alice
Springs and 12 years Chronic Disease programs/education in Aboriginal
Health Services – Borroloola NT, Kalgoorlie & Broome WA and Central
Australia.

Jo moved back to NSW in 2014 and commenced in General Practice at SCFH April 2016.
